Memorial Book
Since its founding in 1999, the Förderverein has been searching for the victims of National Socialist violence against the Jews of Breisach and enjoyed the support of Jewish families all over the world. Valuable sources are the memorial book of the German Federal Archive, the archive of the State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Mémorial for the Jews deported from France by Serge and Beate Klarsfeld and the Staatsarchiv Freiburg. We want to give our cordial thanks to all the archives and researchers. We would be very grateful for supplements and corrections. In our memorial book you find all the members of the Jewish community who lived in Breisach in 1933, and Jews born in Breisach and had the main place of residence in other places in 1933.
